Ben Weeks ⚡31m agoHave been running am interesting experiment over the last week or so. After reading the old testament [although not all of it] I have concluded that the god of the old testament is not the god of Jesus. And, if we make an assumption of removing Peter and John's influence, on the basis of being bad actors, and include books by those closer to Jesus (brother James and "twin" Thomas, as well as the favoured Mary), we come to quite a different canon and message.

Ben Weeks ⚡9d agoMmm ... why do I make so many more typos on @GrapheneOS with FlorisBoard (setup to be very similar to IOS) than in iOS?
From some reading up, seems like there was some clever ML, although FlorisBoard do say they're re-writing the "Glide Typing" atm (I do like the SwiftKey functinality on iOS but maybe that is done in the cloud - or a separately installed keyboard - looks like it's owmed by Microsoft now).

Ben Weeks ⚡26d agoTime to spend more time with Codex CLI. Claude Code is having a lot of recurring layout issues, context compaction issues … First impressions of Codex CLI are it’s a sleeker CLI than Claude Code. Also need to check the progress on OpenCode as not tried that for a while. Might give them a work-tree each tomorrow on an issue (feature) and see how they compare.

Ben Weeks ⚡39d agoDoes Graphene have the equivalent of Apple Pay (or an app that does something similar). I would have thought it would be possible to create an app that runs on Graphene that “simply” clones a card easier than other OS? Maybe I am oversimplifying …
