I’m a Bitcoin Maximalist and I still don’t think I fully realize just how valuable Bitcoin is. How life changing this currency is. I do hope that I have the ability to hold on to Bitcoin for as long as I live to truly see the fruits of my labor, blossom.

Same fear mongering, different day.

I’ve felt the closest thing to freedom in my entire life and I’m desperate to get that back.

I have begun mining during off peak hours only. I hate turning off the miner. At $.0461 per kWh, it much cheaper and more profitable to only mine at that time compared to $.1750 per kWh during peak. I have been unable to offset heating cost with my current electrical setup in my furnace room. It worked for a little while but began tripping the breaker and we would wake up in the middle of the night with very low temps in the house. I’m starting to realize that mining is a low time preference strategy.

Government: last night, we found the guy who stole Bitcoin from the government that stole it first. We stole it back from John. Everyone cheer.

Turns out that you can in fact make food, distribute it across the country, and not use preservatives that poison your customers. It was never about expiration dates. It was always about making food cheaper so that they could impress their shareholders.

I’m attached to nothing of this world besides my family. Not Bitcoin, my house, my cars, status, NOTHING! There is nothing I wouldn’t give up to make sure my family is fine and not even be disappointed about it. That includes Bitcoin… And I’m very passionate about Bitcoin. I remember when my ex (who I bought a house with) and I split. She asked me what I wanted from the house when I moved out. I told her my bed and she could keep the rest. Her jaw about hit the floor. I just don’t give a shit about materials.

We are going to war with Iran. No doubt about it. It’s almost comical how they use the same playbook every time they need money. I’m trying to opt out of this bullshit so hard it hurts.

The urge to home-school my children has been heavy lately. I feel like I could do a way better job than the government. Anyone out there homeschooling? Any words of advice?

My son (1st grade) was asked what he would do if he had $100. Ive never been more proud. Can you see it?

Man…. It’s amazing (and sad) how much the Bitcoin ecosystem is changing. When I discovered bitcoin, it felt wild, free, and pure. The OG crowd was amazing, knowledgeable and loving. Like everything in this world, it gets corrupted by self interest and government overreach. The worst part is that we invited them in. Rode the bike for 30 minutes pushing out 176 Watts average. I could have powered 6 Avalon Q’s for 30 minutes with that power. All while building my inner power. Now THAT would be energy reuse! Come to think of it. I wonder if the bicycle gyms in town are reusing the energy from the bikes they have. 🧐🤔

I’m the least observant person you will ever meet - while being the most observant person you’ve ever met. I could walk by something 1000 times and never notice that it was gone one day. People in the other hand, I notice everything about them.

I enjoy listening and thinking when everyone else is talking. That’s not to say I won’t talk, but when I do, it’s typically because I am passionate about the topic or have something of value to add to the conversation.

There’s nothing better than deleting every social media app on your phone (except Nostr) and people asking you if you heard about this, heard about that, etc. and having NO IDEA what they’re talking about. I truly enjoy not knowing anything.

Some days my mind goes very dark… Today is one of those days. It’s almost like an out of body experience. I’m physically here, but I hear and see nothing. I have so much to be grateful for but I cannot get these demons out of my mind. I can tell you one thing for sure - these demons will never win. I’m never giving up.

@jack mallers Trying to utilize the @strike business account and I feel like the business side needs some work. I say all of this as a loyal customer for 5 years and new to the business side. - It doesn’t give me a bank account to pay bills like the personal account. - From what I can tell, I can’t receive lightning payments like the personal side without putting in a value. Being able to receive lightning is HUGE for my business. - I cannot toggle between my business and personal accounts on the app. I can only use the business via desktop. Any help or direction is appreciated.

Finally got the miner hooked up to my HVAC. I put it on the intake side of the furnace. There are heating coils that the gas typically warms up to around 135F and lets the coils do most of the work heating the home. By putting the miner on the input side, I have increased the temperature of the coils from 73F to 83.6F when the gas isn’t warming them. My hope is that my miner will help offset the gas having to turn on as frequently to keep my home warm. Not only am I heating the coils, I’m also pushing warmer air from my miner through the ducts.
