My first dwarf banana bunch fell over once the soil got wet. It was a sucker put in about 12 months ago. The tiny bananas, leaves & stem were roughly chopped up & used for mulch. The base I dropped somewhere else to start a new clump. It's been cool watching the fruit form on a new variety, one that's much closer to the ground. I think I'll stake up the next bunch with some bamboo.

My phone screen slowly turned purple after my last nostr note & became unusable. I'm 90% up & running again but I probably won't have access to Simplex for a couple of weeks. In going to try to restore Keychat next. I got a nice new pixel 6 plus for cheap. Every time this kind of phone thing happens I get a little quicker & better at restoring things. It's annoying AF but good practice.

There was very little mobile reception at Cave creek. It was nice to disconnect & connect. 💚💜

I'd love to see a fear/greed indicator for nostr based on our notes. It may not be the greatest sample size but I think it'd be interesting. You could even have it customised to an npub's WoT.

I needed a new wheel for my garden trailer plus some stuff to service my daughter's car. I drove 30 mins to the shops & realised I'd left my wallet at home. Going home to get my wallet would waste an hour & a fair bit of diesel. I went through the apps on my phone. None of my credit cards are in my phone & Aqua lost their Dolphin card I had Bitrefil installed. Searched for gift cards & found both stores had them available. Yipee At the auto shop it was quiet so I explained to the guy that I'd forgotten my wallet & needed to buy a gift card. He was chill as I added the voucher to my cart & paid for it with lightning. No problems with either stores. Bitcoin got me out of a pickle. 🤙

These are basil trimmings to go in the dehydrator. Picked & trimmed a bit today. Wanting enough dried basil to see me through the coming winter. It's amazing how much it shrinks when dried & crushed.
