Primal is like an AR-15, everyone knows its reliable, might not be perfect, or ideal but it's what everyone know. Wisp is like a shotgun, run in quick, get in messy, clear rooms like nobodies business. Amethyst is like a Glock, it's the best in the class, can't ever go wrong with it. Damus is like a bolt action sniper rifle, it does the job from far away, you have to just watch but it's probably the deadliest of them all.

I'm assuming the next Damus build is going to be big. The Wisp, Amethyst, Primal gang have been loud more recently, and making good progress but Damus has been quiet more so recently. There has to be something big coming to Damus 🤔 that'll blow the other three out of the water.

I believe in Nostr as one of the future protocols, if not the framework for a future protocol. And I believe in it so much that I don't say what everyone wants to hear, I say what needs to be heard. Because if I wanted to grift, and be popular, and earn $10,000+ a year from posting notes I would be saying "HODL, Bitcoin is going to $5 million, Saylor is right". I don't though, why? Because I believe in Nostr, and the freedom to say what's on your mind.

Subsidization of The Consumer Class (Parasites) removes capital away from The Builder Class (Net Tax Contributors), and prevents them from competing against existing businesses. The government is incentivized to prevent the parasites from rioting, and their corporate donors from being replaced. The Builders deal with it because they’re generally profitable people in any industry until it gets to the point where the parasite class overwhelms the builder class leading to Violent Revolutions, or Brain Drain.

You can kind of feel that Nostr is in a competition mode right now. Before devs were just slowly taking their time to build clients but now you see the constant shilling, and talks about new features. That’s fiats griphold causing Enshittification. Inflation, which spiked during Covid is still working its way throughout the global economy. Assets are becoming intrinsic, goods, and services are increasing. The economy right now is going through a fundamentals phase where everything has to be brutally cost effective, not efficient, not functional, cost effective, companies are doing anything they can to squeeze an extra dollar out of an already squeezed orange because margins are becoming thinner, and thinner. You can see this reflected even in Nostr, before clients were shitty, and free but now clients are improving but are offering premium services more. Because reality hits everyone hard, dev time into Nostr is wasted when the devs could be building the next Grindr, or SHEIN, & make a billion dollars easily but they picked Nostr as a hobby for fun until the dev debt become too great. It’s unfortunately the way things will be until the money is fixed.

Back in my day our wallet choices were either KYC’d primal wallet, or Alby, and we had to go to https://zap.army/ to get zaps, and manually connect with strings. Nowadays Nostr kids get the zaps built into the client. Npubs don’t know how easy they have it these days.

Nostr should be so good that you won’t need Nostr to have an account. The more we go towards Wavlake, and Divine like sign up pages for clients the better. Your grandma should be able to sign up for Nostr using Facebook. Your racist brother should be able to sign up for Nostr using Twitter/x. Your girlfriend should be able to sign up for Nostr with Instagram. Your best friend should be able to sign up for Nostr with his email address. The sooner we make NSEC, and Nscrypts more user friendly the sooner we win. NSEC is not an NSEC, it’s a Master Key to your account(s). Then just slap an ? Logo that leads to an NSEC explainer page.
