I placed a bet a few weeks ago on Man City winning the league. Last week, Man City was losing to Liverpool. I thought that my bet was dead. Then the game ended with a City win and my bet was saved. The bet was still a fan’s bet rather than a rational bet until yesterday. Yesterday, Arsenal, the team at the top of the table, came away with only a point.
