Story of the Internet: -Somebody makes an unsubstantiated and highly speculative inflammatory claim/hot take without any substance. -A counter perspective is made with credible objectivity. -Individual initially making the inflammatory claim responds that they don’t the time or inclination to defend their outrageous claim. -3rd party comes in whose bias is reinforced by the initial hot take/lack of objectivity and assigns a derogatory name to the individual providing a counter perspective. -Counter perspective individual is muted for making a logical argument and the other two parties fist bump/zap because they’ve defeated another account who would provide evidence contrary to their bias. 📝 027377c5…
