The guy I got them off said he had root borers & that all his fall over from it. I've rarely had a problem with my other bananas falling over. They grow 3 times taller but have much thicker stems. The soil is pretty loose where they are. I'm not sure if it's the genetics (poor stabilizing roots) or the mysterious root borer. 🤷
