When it was twitter, censorship was discussed openly and even assessed. Shadow bans, search bans, and similar were known and rightly condemned. As X, the same types of censorship mechanisms are still deployed, but less noise is made about them. The mechanisms are less "in your face", in that the user is almost never informed of the punishments being inflicted. You are now spam. Not really, and they dont flag actual spam, but they will flag you as such for wrongthink of various flavors
