Following a discussion about #telegram and #signal. @Meredith Whittaker Signal prompts you to use a smartphone to get the desktop app. So even if that ones better, no option to join unless you borrow a phone, but unsure if one keeps needing a phone to log in, like after an update, but for sure when switching device. So I thought i bring up nostr as an alternative. But quick search on https://nostrapps.com/0xchat, and i found this #oxchat and it seems i need a smartphone for that. Yes? @0xchat Are there any #chat #apps where one does not need a #smartphone? #primal is nice, maybe add chat? There IS! a market for those that still really rather not have one. It might be a small compared to the mainstream internet user. But whomever catches it.. 🎯
