Working in the #Bitcoin and #freedomtech space can be mentally and emotionally challenging, especially if you're an open-source developer. (Plus, most of us in this space, developers and otherwise, have at least a little touch of insanity, which doesn't necessarily make anything easier.) As a former Core contributor, @e7d4833b…4c6dc1df is acutely aware of that. And so she created @waye as a means to provide psychosocial support to open-source devs around the world. Her goal with Waye isn't just to help devs stick around, but to help them thrive in doing the work that they do. I sat down with Amiti to get into the details of why she pivoted to coaching devs, to get some tips on how to overcome our limiting default modes, and to discuss how reframing can help us to play bigger. Once you come to a certain understanding of Bitcoin, it’s virtually impossible to date someone who doesn’t get it. Listening to the person across from you propose solutions to political and economic problems that you know will barely make a dent in our current issues (e.g., “It only we could tax CEOs more!) while biting your tongue and not launching into a treatise on economics and explaining how Bitcoin is the answer is not just difficult but physically painful at this point. I’m at a loss.

That's a 9.3% annualized rate of inflation. One could argue that this is the real rate of inflation over the past 55 years.

I recently sat down with pro-Bitcoin New York Attorney General hopefully Khurram Dara at @PUBKEY to discuss how to make New York more friendly to Bitcoin (down with the BitLicense!) and to businesses in the state. I was a fan of what he had to say.
