✨ Introducing my original "Cinnawell Pine Berry Rolls" ✨
I wanted to make something special for my mom today, so I took a classic and gave it a tropical, gourmet twist! 🍍🍓
The "Cinnawell" Technique:
I cut 5 Flaky Grands into 10 smaller rolls for the perfect crispy-to-soft ratio. For each one, I pressed a deep "well" into the dough and pressed brown sugar directly into the inner wall sides for a caramelized crunch.
The Filling & Finish: * Layered with rich Cajeta (goat milk caramel).
Stuffed with 8 fresh Winter Frost Pineberries (tossed in lemon juice, sugar, and cinnamon).
The Secret: Drizzled more cajeta over the berries and then brushed the whole thing with melted butter before it hit the oven! 🧈✨
The Bake: Baked at 350°F for a perfect 19 minutes on parchment paper. Finished with the creamy icing and a little extra cajeta. The pineapple notes of the white strawberries mixed with the buttery cinnamon crust is a total game changer!
