Der Bitcoin-Standard beginnt zwischen Menschen Wenn wir über den Bitcoin-Standard sprechen, landen wir oft schnell bei der Technik: Full Nodes, Lightning-Channels, Hardware-Wallets und die wachsende Zahl der Händlerakzeptanz. Das ist die sichtbare Infrastruktur – das Skelett, das Bitcoin im Alltag nutzbar macht. Doch es gibt eine zweite Ebene, die oft übersehen wird, obwohl sie für die echte Adoption entscheidend ist: Die soziale Infrastruktur. Zugang entsteht selten im luftleeren Raum Bitcoin ist theoretisch offen für alle. "Permissionless" bedeutet aber nicht automatisch barrierefrei. Die Reise in den Kaninchenbau beginnt für die meisten Menschen nicht mit dem Studium des Whitepapers, sondern mit einem Gespräch. Adoption passiert dort, wo Menschen einander begegnen, Fragen stellen und Vertrauen aufbauen. Orte, an denen der erste Kontakt nicht über eine Software entsteht, sondern über echten Austausch. Warum thematische Räume (wie für Frauen) so wichtig sind Viele Menschen betreten die Welt von Bitcoin über unterschiedliche Türen: Die einen kommen über die IT, andere über wirtschaftliche Sorgen, wieder andere über persönliche Empfehlungen. Hier kommen gezielte Bildungsräume ins Spiel. Es ist kein Ausschluss, sondern eine Brücke, wenn wir spezifische Formate schaffen: • Bitcoin-Meetups für Frauen: Hier entsteht oft eine andere Dynamik. Fragen zur langfristigen Familiensicherung oder praktischen Anwendung im Alltag stehen im Vordergrund, ohne den (oft einschüchternden) Tech-Jargon klassischer Runden. • Unternehmer-Stammtische: Fokus auf Bilanzierung und Cash-Reserve. • Generationen-Workshops: Wo Enkel ihren Großeltern den Standard erklären. In Las Vegas bin ich beispielsweise auf Satoshi is Black gestoßen. Solche Räume funktionieren, weil Menschen sich leichter öffnen, wenn sie Gemeinsamkeiten teilen – seien es Lebenssituationen, Interessen oder Herausforderungen. Von der Gemeinsamkeit zur Nutzung Die Formel ist simpel: Gemeinsame Bezugspunkte schaffen Vertrauen –> Vertrauen erleichtert das Lernen –> Lernen führt zur praktischen Nutzung. Der Bitcoin-Standard ist mehr als nur ein technologisches Upgrade unseres Geldsystems. Er ist ein sozialer Prozess. Er lebt davon, dass wir Räume schaffen, in denen sich jeder – egal aus welcher Lebensrealität – abgeholt fühlt. Wir bauen nicht nur Nodes. Nach einer kleinen Runde, vorbei am Geburtshaus von Karl Valentin und über die Museumsinsel ging’s zur gemütlichen Fortsetzung ins Café. Yesterday – like every Saturday – was #BitcoinWalk day again in Munich. Temperatures were around 0°C, but that didn’t stop a group of brave Bitcoiners. ❄️😀 Every walk is different – different weather, different people, sometimes a different route. And most of all, different conversations. You start walking, and somehow the thoughts start flowing. Bitcoin is often just the spark for everything that follows: Bitcoin and architecture. Bitcoin and society. Bitcoin and politics. Personal responsibility. Freedom. Our education system. The slow erosion of prosperity. Financial and health provision. Family. Career. Dreams. It’s always amazing to see how much energy these meetups create and how easy it is to start talking, even when people are meeting for the first time. It was a pleasure to lead the group.
