Hello Sound HSA team, I’m reaching out from a small community I’m onboarding in Lagos, Nigeria. We’ve been testing the move-to-earn activity feature, but many users are experiencing the same issue on both iOS and Android devices. The problem is that the activity/step progress is not visible for some users. After installing the app and moving with their phones (walking, running, dancing, etc.), the app does not show the current step count or progress, and the “Complete” button never appears. Things we have already checked: • Activity / fitness permissions are enabled • Internet connection is on • Users keep their phones in their pocket while moving • App and phone have been restarted Despite this, the step counter still doesn’t update for some users on both platforms. Since the goal is to reach 50k steps, not seeing progress makes many new users think the feature is not working. Could you please clarify: 1. How users can view their current progress correctly 2. Whether there are specific device requirements 3. If there might be a bug affecting step tracking We’re actively onboarding new users here and would appreciate any guidance so we can help them use the app properly. Thank you.

Hi there, we’d love to help out your community complete the challenges! Can you send screen shots with any more details on what you’re seeing? It might be that the android phone itself is older. We will dig into it!

Hi, thanks for getting back to me. Here is one of the screenshots from a user in our community. As you can see, the user already completed 50,836 / 50,000 steps, and the challenge shows “Completed.” However, many users are still experiencing issues after reaching the step target. Some of the problems we are seeing are: • The “Complete” button does not appear for some users even after passing 50k steps. • Some users cannot see their step progress updating while they are walking. • Many users do share the challenge to Nostr, but the reward claim step still does not appear. Also, most of the phones involved are very good iPhones and newer Android devices, so it may not be only an issue with older Android phones. Some users said the button never appeared at all, which is why I’m sending this screenshot as one of the examples you asked for. We’re onboarding several users in our community here in Lagos, and many people are excited about completing the challenge, so we wanted to report this clearly in case there is a sync or step tracking issue affecting some devices. Please let us know if there is any additional step users should take after reaching the target. Thanks again for the support.
