cloud fodder30d agoyeah, and then run your own nexus aggregator and your own client. saying 'you can just run a homeserver', is not enough for you to avoid their terms. anyway, seems like a lot of services to run, vs nostr you truly can just run a relay.

Analogue Dog30d agoThe client is a web app, and Ed25519 key management can be handled anywhere (inc. hardware devices like Nitrokey). Nexus hasn't even been built yet.
... so a sovereign homeserver negates the necessity to sign-up to anything.
