Are DMs simply a full MLS group, but just limited by the app to two users?
So the Marmot protocol would allow a third user (or a second device for one user) to be added?
(That might be bad UX though)

Max8d agoYes. DMs are a two client group.
Later when we support multiple clients/devices for the same npub, a DM turns into a multiuser group, your laptop and your phone have full access to the group with separate keys generated on each device.

Max8d agoWe currently dont support to add a third npub to a DM group.
That is a UX limit, technically that's possible under the hood.
