What a day... Started with a broker having double booked a load. Quickly changed to a new load picking up north at a mine... It was snowing and slick. New Canadians with no sense of driving trucks we're travelling at 35km/h and getting stuck on the hills. Then I'm all loaded and heading back. The sun came out and the temp soared above zero melting everything. THEN! I get into NY heading to Ohio and I'm facing 60km/h (40mph) crosswinds with gusts above that! I'm parked between other trucks now and I'm still rocking from these winds. Mind you, I'm weighing out close to 80k lbs here so that should give you a sense of the wind
