You mean "#word5str"? I just noticed this today for the first time. It's not resolving (no purple hyperlink-ey thing) in jumble as a hashtag. It does resolve on Damus though, where I see it's just YOUR posts though. I share direct from the app, which only includes the hashtag number thing.
I don't think so, it's just a prompt to "share on nostr" and then presto it does it. The alternative, which I think you're using, is to not auto share, but copy to clipboard some stuff, and then craft a post. But that's extra steps... and I'm not sure if the solution gets counted in the official stats or "social" tab in the app that way.
Share on nostr doesn't work for me. I search the number tag to see how I land that day but some people are often missing from those results.

Yeah, hashtag searches are problematic. I search the number of puzzle and didn't see many people, including B. Later I look and she's there...it's unreliable.
Not sure why you can't post directly from ap. Are you signed in with extension? You need to be for it to work, and iirc the dot which indicates this on the site is confusingly colored as green for signed out and purple for signed in (terrible choice lol).
I play on my phone so no nip07. Amber does the same thing as a nip07 signer but it is an Android app. It works a little different so things have to support amber directly.
