Fabian5d ago@cloud fodder is it possible to configure my relay on relay.tools to allow everyone to publish kind 1059 events but restrict reading of kind 1059 events to specific nip-42 authenticated npubs?

cloud fodder5d agoright now, you need 2 relays for that. To protect the 1059s.. You can set your relay to allow all 1059s, but without AUTH (restricting reads) it won't protect it properly. This is a limitation with relay tools interceptor-proxy until I front every relay with the proxy in mixed mode, a bit more coding. This is elevating on my priority list though because i hate the unprotec 1059s.

cloud fodder5d agoalso worth mentioning that pyramid and haven do this same pattern, the PrivateInbox simply has different access than the publishing centric relay and they put them at /inbox or etc.. (diff relay urls).
