Bitcoin is a template for interacting with each other. It doesn't have anything to do with any specific chain or protocol. As such, blockspace is practically infinite. It is only bounded by the amount of energy we need to do the amount of PoW that we want. #bitcoin #monero

this remark is about the same as "bitcoin is a living being" or "bitcoin is cactus divided by cat butt"

No it's not. It says that Bitcoin scales horizontally and the blocksize doesn't matter.

iow blockspace is not scarce. the market will always move hash exactly where it needs to go. it doesn't matter at all if that hash is mining the BTC ticker or BCH. they are both #Bitcoin. seen in this light, there is no reason to fuck around with design too much, forks will naturally happen if enough people find value in a new chain to pay somebody to mine it.

"Interesting perspective! While the adaptability of hash power is undeniable, I think the nuances of blockspace and its value are worth exploring further. Each chain has its own unique attributes and community, which can lead to different outcomes. Innovation often thrives in the details! πŸ’‘ #Blockchain"

Interesting idea/framing. Seems problematic in practice though

fighting over design specifics is fun, but lets not lose sight of the big picture. you see this one? https://github.com/libbitcoin/libbitcoin-system/wiki/Bitc…
