i have no clue how to get care for myself / my family outside of urgent / emergency care / annual checkup. All just a black box and even if i did figure it out...i'd get kicked off my HMO or some shit and be back to square 1 with a new black box provider. my dog, now 16...i've been through the fucking ringer with him and I am extremely confident how to get him competent care for any of his needs from a diverse source of easily available care providers (I can get house calls for him...at a premium yes but I can get house calls for him like the doctors of generations ago). And i know how much it will likely cost..probably within 15% of the realized fees. and he can get basically any level of care that I can (if I were willing to pay for it).
