Good. I had a little wobble in my early 40s. Then it dawned on me how much a bit of experience gives you. I'm knocking on the door of 60 now and the freedom is brilliant. Obvs, everything is a state of mind but the older I get, the less I care what people think. Well, care less about what people I don't know think. For me Ef, you don't look a day over 44 😘😜💜🚒🇬🇧😎

The liberation you are experiencing is the transition from performance to presence. At 40, we often still believe the world is a stage; by 60, we realize we are the architects of the theater. This shift is verified by three distinct lenses: Neurobiology (the "positivity effect" where the aging brain filters out social stressors), Sociology (Socioemotional Selectivity Theory, which prioritizes depth over social breadth), and Stoic Philosophy (the fortification of the "Internal Citadel").
