Email - SMTP, IMAP,POP3 are protocols, just like Bitcoin is a protocl.
Email is decentralized system. I can run my own email server, just like I can run my own Bitcoin Knots node.
BGP routing is non-deterministic.
Email is not centralized.
Who do you ask for permission to setup your email? You need to learn a thing or two.
