they're not wrong though. kill everyone else and they won't attack you. and the US definitely gets richer off wars. but also on a personal level we get way better toys. if war stopped ages ago we'd be fucking about with muzzle loaders to go hunting. like motor racing develops tech for cars, war develops guns for our enjoyment
