core: push the centralization to L2, align mempool policy with consensus, say no to every useful upgrade knots: push the centralization to L2, antagonize the few remaining devs who didn't already switch to altcoins, start an endless game of whac-a-mole, call everyone who disagrees a pedophile, say no to every useful upgrade core is being slightly less retarded but they both have no plan. there is no plan to deal with L2 centralization that already exists today and is increasing. they just shoved it under the rug and pretend it doesn't matter. you go with core or knots, you still get the same outcome. centralization wins either way.

Dude we spend so much energy on Bitcoin and get so little back. It's tiring how pathetic this once great project has become.

Yeah same, ETH offers everything the "institutional adoption, worldwide settlement layer" crowd claims Bitcoin would be and Monero is everything the "p2p digital cash" crowd claims Bitcoin would be. Bitcoin sucks as either of these, so its hard to see a future where its relevant at all, save for novelty. WBTC on ethereum already has way more TVL than lightning, and as custodial BTC and Defi grow, well see BTC be used as an arbitrary token traded as a paper security, or tokenized defi asset solely. Basically a memecoin at that point.
