I think a better question is 'What is the long-term value of machine text?'
I agree with many of the comments here. The value of LLM posts now is low, and it will trend to zero for humans. For machine reading, it will be necessary.
But ultimately, humans are the ones who create and buy things, who put in time and effort... or don't. They value human things, especially where time and effort cannot be faked.
Brands should be doubling their efforts to stand out, but instead, they are publishing reams of content their employees, users, and potential customer don't give a shit about.
