GNOME is actually my favorite DE and has been for years. On desktop, it's very keyboard oriented, which is something I care about since mice and blind people don't go well together. It's also the only environment I'm aware of that has a screen reader and magnification. I know that KDE has some sort of magnification, but I'm not aware of any screen reader in KDE.

I thought so. But still wanted to make aware of the fact while respecting everyones dignity. For me it is important, that all human get the chance to participarte in our great nostr interactions. So I thought to make aware of the communication fail. A hug to both of you.

If I remember correctly, doesn't KDE use a lot of QT applications? Because if so, I wasn't aware that QT apps worked with ORCA. I thought only (... The name escapes me right offhand, the other development framework) apps worked with Orca

Yes, the KDE Plasma desktop environment and the majority of software within the KDE ecosystem are built using the QT framework.

Yeah, if I remember correctly, QT applications don't work particularly well with Orca. I just remembered the name of the other framework, GTK. I believe those applications are the ones that work super well with Orca
