🤣
“Nobody wants to use it as money because it isn’t fungible” is an asinine statement considering plenty of us are using it as money today.
Maybe others are just waiting until it is worth more in fiat terms so they do not have to spend generational wealth on petty fiat shit.
Hey now, that's not necessary, I am actually going to have my agent manage listing my btc nostr stuff onto monero markets bc they are our friends even if they act like they aren't here.
Ha sorry
Agree they should be friends but most are completely insufferable and are no better than the nocoiners and degen shitcoiners in normie land
Completely blind to how the world works and think everyone on the planet are going to take the time to figure out how to purchase monero in a p2p fashion

Well, if we accept that fact that not everyone will even own a utxo, then we have to go to l2, then we have more privacy, but custodians. If we onboard most via ecash, then they have a lot of privacy by default. Besides bringing up the rug pull factor, what is the problem there? It's super easy to use.
My first thought is that " nobodty cares"
ie obv there isn't demand for this, the mempool is empty. maybe we do this after blocks are full?
oh but we HAVE to go ahead and do this because no normie will use L1 for P2P transactions because we ruined the UX with our design choices.
and my second thought is that this is just recreating banks. it's just a centralized custodian on Bitcoin. they are either doxed and vulnerable to regulatory pressurw or they're shady.
so we're recreating banks in order to make up for ruining L1 usage. awesome.
when do we get to the Freedom Money part? That's what I signed up for.
no we do, but the spread is lousy.
and not back the other way.
I think we need less fucking around providing ecash mints and LN service providers,
and more development on cross-chain atomic swaps.
there's plenty of blockspace, it isn't a scarce resource.
