It's an embarrassment that @a341f45f…cffc7a98 is still talking at conferences. Imagine how fucking dumb you have to be to have the headliner at multiple @1baf18ae…b75e2806 be someone who doesn't want people to use Bitcoin as money. Who thinks the lightning network is a curiosity for gay nerds. And who wants to make a fiat stable shitcoin on top of bitcoin that you use instead. Now he's promoting solana stablecoins. What the fuck are we doing here?? How have we not run this sociopath out of town?? Podcasters need to start asking him actual questions like, "Why don't you want people to use bitcoin as money?" Or "Won't bitcoin inevitably be turned into money despite your efforts to the contrary? And won't that undermine your business? And so your interests will be counter to the entire network's interests and eventually you will start saying really wonky fucking stupid shit about solana and stable coins, mike?" But somehow people see no issues with someone like that doing keynotes at their conferences, not to mention having a "leadership role" in overseeing protocol development. Its embarrassing really. #podconf #bitcoinconference @c48e29f0…26e14c11 @472f440f…5669301e @04c915da…3dfbecc9 @edcd2055…0078e6da @715bf0c6…152f959b @86a30c1b…1cf85f2e @be131ee1…ff10af7c

Saylor has repeatedly said, and I am paraphrasing 'just buy bitcoin.' 99% of people will never do that, not for decades. What Saylor understands that you don't: bitcoin isn't going to become THE MONEY for decades. In the interim, the world needs to transition from fiat and back it with something more than hot air. Strategy will be the bridge. Most people do not have the intelligence, humility, or curiosity to ever own bitcoin. 34% of Americans think the dollar is still backed by gold. It will take generations to be on a full bitcoin standard. Strategy is one of the ways we can possibly thread the needle and not go Mad Max.

I'm just grateful that someone so humble, intelligent, and curious is willing to educate me on how stupid everyone is. Can you point me to any tutorials on using Ethereum L2s? 300% APY Seems like a good way for my family to thread the needle and not "go mad max."

You can ask him. While youre at it, ask him if bitcoin should be used as money. Or maybe if bitcoin should be promoted as a neutral reserve asset instead of the foundation of a fiat shitcoin used to siphon value from people around the world. The answer to the above is going to be fucking "NO". Its funny because the people who think my neighbors, friends, and family are too stupid to ever get bitcoin are promoting a known financial fraudster that's taking their ungovernable, cold storage bitcoin and putting it on a fiat stock exchange open 930 to 4, 5 days a week during a 4th turning and telling them its not money. Give me a fucking break.

Strategy cannot buy all the bitcoin. The company is not preventing anyone from owning bitcoin. If people close to you have bitcoin, why are you worried about Saylor's opinion of what bitcoin is? If people close to you don't have bitcoin, aren't they more likely to heed your advice, than a man they've never met? What if Strategy is a "top of the funnel" for people to get bitcoin? Logically, if the company can profit from borrowing fiat at 11% and buying bitcoin, using low leverage, is that not a Eureka moment for people to buy bitcoin instead of getting 11% interest? Individuals can duplicate this with the Strike line of credit. This is borrowing paper marks ro buy gold.

This thread speaks for itself. I'm not going in circles talking past you and repeating myself. Bitcoin is money. People are not too stupid for bitcoin. We are not special.

You just seem emotionally invested in others' opinions on bitcoin, when the only thing that actually matters is your own actions. Be self-soveriegn. Trying to dictate how others use bitcoin (or anything else) is a waste of energy and just leftover PTSD from fiat slave mindset.

Third point: Strategy is not "siphoning value" from anyone. It is creating value. Using bitcoin as 'fuel' and refining it into a stable asset that keeps pace with inflation -- something the majority of people gamble into Apple, Google, and Facebook in order to do. STRC is a lower risk way of saving, with similar returns to the stock market casino.

I can't be self-sovereign until I figure out how gas fees work on solana.
