I never said generated software couldn't be helpful, so I don't know what you're even trying to reply to. It is a statistical interpolation of existing code, however, and the range of possibilities is limited by that distribution, as you'd know if you knew how neural networks work. A computational idea isn't an idea about a new app, for fuck's sake. The vast majority of apps never require any novel computational ideas, not in the last few decades. And low-quality code can obviously be helpful if it runs correctly. It slowly deteriorates the whole system as it gets bigger and its role becomes more central, but it will at least appear useful in the meanwhile.
