🤔 I'd say "traditionally" no, but you can do whatever you like. I'm not going to uhhhhh ackshually you on it. The ketchup on top kind of gets thick and the sugars from the tomatoes get kind of caramelized, so it changes the texture and taste of the ketchup a little. My uncle poured jarred spaghetti sauce on his 🤷‍♀️😂

On top it turns into a nice thick glaze while it cooks. The icing on your meatcake.
