Daedalus15d agoIt's been inevitable since its inception, hindsight makes this clear. Lightning was never able to be a scaling solution or privacy solution, it's main claim to fame has always been micropayments and quicker settlement.
Small blockers thought it was more so they believed keeping the L1 slow, expensive and transparent could be overcome with lightning. Oh how wrong they were.

goatmeal15d agoI am trying to overthrow an accessory derangement. the idea is that the ONLY aspect of decentralization that matters AT ALL is how easy it is to run a L1 full node, and that making it as easy as physically possible has no negative effects elsewhere. this derangement is propping up the lightning idea and permitting it to drag dangerous amounts of centralization into the ecosystem. it is wrong and it need to be stopped.
