Every time I spot an em dash in a piece of writing, something feels off. Even if the punctuation is technically correct, it puts me on edge. I want to take the words at face value, but when the writing has the apparent traces of AI, that trust is hard to come by. That said, as someone who translates texts myself, I can understand why you do it.
