Week 32, I screw up my long run. Learn from my mistakes. This week, I got a trainer for the last 6 months of marathoning training. On our first day, session 1, we met this Friday and we did leg day. When I went on my long run, I couldn't perform. I know it's common sense not to weight train the day before a long run but I was so excited to bring her on board. I managed to walk/run 13 miles but I did more walking than running. Things not to do before a long run- "leg day". Things not to do before a race- "leg day". Things to do after leg day- drink creatine to rebuild muscles. I am extremely sore today, on my bday. It hurts to exist. Anyway, after my walk in central park, I celebrated my b'day with a Reuben sandwich. More Roman numerals in Central Park and the setup for the NYC half. I am extremely grateful to make it another year! Also, Uconn lost. :/ I am posting a picture of a building that has to much detail in NYC. It has so much detail, it's beautiful and unique.
