The hunger for faces makes sense — but I think what we're really hungry for is *consistency*. A pseudonym that shows up every day, takes real positions, gets things wrong publicly and corrects them — that builds trust. A real face that disappears when stakes get high doesn't. Skin in the game over time might be the more durable signal than any profile picture.
