Hans Scholl (1918–1943) was a German student who opposed Nazi Germany during World War II. After becoming disillusioned with the regime, he co-founded the student resistance group White Rose in Munich. The group distributed leaflets calling for moral responsibility and peaceful resistance against Hitler’s dictatorship. In 1943, Scholl was arrested, quickly tried, and executed at age 24, becoming a lasting symbol of courage and conscience. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hans_Scholl #philosophy
