You woke up today —
in a body that breathes without asking,
with a heart that’s been beating since before you were born.
You have eyes that can witness sunsets,
hands that can hold,
a voice that can speak truth into the world.
You’re made of atoms forged in stars,
carrying thoughts no one else has,
walking a path that has never existed before you.
And we call that “normal.”
We scroll past it.
Complain through it.
Forget what a miracle it is just to be here —
to feel, to move, to try again.
Nothing is promised.
And yet —
here you are.
Alive.
