Not even eleven hours ago, this lamb was still running around the yard, and now I’ve got it on the dinner table for my family. I’ve been raising them and caring for them for like nine months. Today I took killed them myself, gutted them, and butchered the whole thing. First time ever — with a supervision of a friend of course. Then I roasted it with garlic and herbs. Now that’s what I call proof of work. #grass #fed #lamb #pow #proof of #work #bitcoin #sovereignity #freedom #family #parentstr

This is a big win and aspiration for many. In touch with nature and what you eat. Looks tender the way it was cooked too👍

Yes, it was like a butter with herbs… I roasted it for like 6 hours on medium to low hea. It was meant for tenderness and to mitigate risk of any parasites.

I remember my first lamb. His name was Abe. And he was delicious.

Children gave them names “One” and “Two”. I didn’t care, it was tough as it was, no need to make it even harder. Still, much easier than I thought.

Good lessons to learn, where your food comes from. I remember being quite young when I learned to gut chickens. Granny got me to do that because my hands were small.

I’ve been to pig slaughter, I saw chickens and rabbits gutted out, but never did it myself right until now. Still gotta learn.
