The inorganic origin of petroleum is tremendous. Mendeleev himself, creator of the first periodic table of elements, advocated for the inorganic origin of petroleum. The idea that petroleum is dinosaur juice, once you study the movements of tectonic plates a little, is simply laughable. And on the moon Titan, where there are literally seas of hydrocarbons, I don't think dinosaurs existed. The organic theory of petroleum has more and more detractors, and new research is emerging that points to an inorganic origin.
