I'm all for everyone slinging shit at eachothers coins of choice, but that distinction has always bugged the shit out of me. Maybe its a touch of the tism, but I have hard time with it too.

Technically, Bitcoin is cryptography and a currency, hence the term cryptocurrency. Pretty straightforward. Shitcoin vs Bitcoin, big difference as most of us already know. Unfortunately, Bitcoin gets caught up and combined into the “shitcoin” cryptocurrency category by the masses.
