mos_8502 :verified: 🇨🇦2d agoFull honesty: I can’t say I feel sad about what LLMs are doing to open source. The “community” has been due for some karmic comeuppance for decades. I don’t particularly like that it comes in a form that benefits even worse people, but I’m shedding no tears for GNU.

As a maintainer of open source software, I'm trying to figure out how to read this in some way which isn't incredibly offensive to me.
I myself have been critical of the open source movement in broad terms, but that's because of certain corners which fight against "ethical source" and see OSS as purely a practical effort, not a moral one.
But you'll have to explain what you're talking about. 🤷🏻♂️
