It uses the Mastodon API, so I think the name is appropriate, even if it works with other Fediverse servers like #snac. CC: @céline didone

if all the tools used the software or api name in their own name we would live in a hellscape. There are hundreds of things called masto-this and masto-that and makes the entire network harder to navigate and talk about.
