Indeed. Wish I knew this when I was younger. Spent too much time ruminating on disappointments rather than picking up and dusting myself off. For me, my faith in God has also made a big difference in this regard.

Ideally be calculated in what you try. There’s a chance you’ll not enjoy the journey and the destination is gonna suck, thus not being worth the cost.
