Well said. I would add that NIP-29 is unique among any other moderated group scheme in any protocol or platform by its ability to do centralized management combined with server migration (although the migration part was never implemented by anyone yet). It's the best of both worlds. If you read https://bnewbold.leaflet.pub/3m2x7bilyrc23 for example you'll see people on far more centralization-friendly pastures struggling to come up with a working sub-protocol for groups. Anything like NIP-29 is unthinkable to them as they don't have a decentralized ecosystem of interoperable servers. Because of that I think NIP-29 is pretty much nostric and not anti-Nostr.
