Yes the Bible forbids eating pigs. Apparently it's unclean, well if you look at any modern feedlot it's actually far worse than unclean, pigs will eat anything and they are kept in tiny pans covered in shit, lots of disease and parasites. But bacon is smoked and salted and chemically treated so none of that disease or parasites survives.
