This picture shows my sense of the world for the last five-ish years - it has been a 100 megaton clown bomb. I’ve changed a lot of my core views. I honestly feel like a different person now. I’m flabbergasted by the state of the world - especially the West. I work in academia and have seen the stupidity and arrogance of many academics up close. Living in Norway, the recent corruption revelations just added another 50 megatons to the clown bomb. What’s kept me sane: discovering Bitcoin, the people in this space, my hobbies, nature, my pets, real one-on-one conversations with folks who can still think critically… and yeah, this place right here on Nostr. There’s a ridiculously good collection of those people here. As the Chinese curse goes: “May you live in interesting times.” By golly, the last five years have been interesting.
