Been digging into Nostr retention stats from https://stats.andotherstuff.org/ Nostr cohorts look like this: - Week 1 retention: ~5–10%
 - By Week 4: ~0–3% This pretty much states that hardly anyone stays around.... For reference: a16z’s benchmarks for consumer social networks say: - “OK” apps: 40%+ Week 1, 20%+ Week 4
 - “Great” apps: 75% Week 1, 50%+ Week 4 So yes, our retention is objectively bad right now — and that’s the point of this post. How can we improve retention? If we want to make this thing work every nostr app/developer needs to obsess over those retention cohorts
