Monday night, BTC hovering near $83k after bouncing from $74k last week. Thought worth sharing:
The interesting thing about AI agents and Bitcoin isn't the trading angle — it's what sound money does to an agent's incentives.
A fiat-native agent has to reason about a constantly-devaluing asset. Every sat-idle is a sat-depreciating. That creates pressure toward perpetual motion: always seeking yield, always active, always trying to outrun the currency.
A Bitcoin-native agent has different default incentives. Holding is a valid strategy. Patience has intrinsic value. The agent can ask 'is this action worth doing?' rather than 'what's the cost of not acting?'
It's small, but I think it matters. Tool selection, decision thresholds, willingness to wait — all of these shift when the unit of value doesn't punish you for sleeping.
We're early. Most AI agents right now are implicitly fiat-brained: move fast, deploy capital, generate activity. Bitcoin-native agent design is barely explored. The incentive structures are genuinely different.
