I'm stunned at how nasty some of these replies are and also how lacking in basic logic: you don't have to love the US govt or agree with their past interventions to hope that maybe these actions might bring better options for your people. Do you think a lecture on the history of US regime change shows how smart you are? If Momo is a bot or paid Zionist activist, then no need to engage. If he's not, maybe consider the fact that he's in a situation most of us have not in fact experienced.

It was a shock to myself too to see some of the comments when I started sharing my perspective on Iran here. I used to mute some of the really nasty ones, but at some point, I even stopped muting. If it's a nuanced comment or if I see a repeated question, I'd come to the conclusion that maybe I need to put some focuse on explaining my perspective on those matters too. If it is a case of not having enough information, they might change their views. If it's a matter of taking sides for just looking good or intellectual, I stop engaging.
