Does ice have the authority to enforce traffic violations? Pretty sure someone blocking the road is not their jurisdiction

you're a fool if you think the police cannot act to remove someone OBSTRUCTING their work.

Do you have a source? Everything I read says it's outside of their jurisdiction to enforce state laws, let alone traffic violations.

A conservation agent literally enforces wildlife law and carry a gun https://mdc.mo.gov/sites/default/files/2022-08/Conservati… The EPA has agents who carry a gun and enforce environmental law.

First of all, the road was not blocked. Look at the video there are multiple cars passing right before the other truck pulls up. And yes it's outside their jurisdiction to enforce state traffic laws. Since they weren't blocked, their issue with her was that she was slowing traffic by blocking 1 lane of a two lane road. That sucks for them, but they could have driven around her and also called the local police to report her for being illegally parked. Cite the MN law saying you have to exit the vehicle for an LEO bc their definition of LEO doesn't include federal agents: https://www.revisor.mn.gov/statutes/cite/609.487

This is the definition of moving the goal posts. You yourself said "Minnesota law says you have to exit the vehicle" and then I showed you it didn't, you changed your argument. She definitely wasn't detained, if you're claiming she was, sounds like unlawful detention to me. Federal law trumps state for sure. But federal officers cannot enforce state law. She was not breaking any federal laws.

The way you respond when proven wrong speaks volumes.

I could be wrong, but I don't hear anyone in the videos I saw saying "you're under arrest" or "being detained". As someone who has been arrested, that is a thing. Even if I accept fleeing detention, that doesn't justify killing someone fleeing, thats pretty obvious. Are you claiming she was violating federal law? If so which one?

The semantics game is important when you're talking about state violence. I re-listen to the video and yes, they tell her to get out of the car, so wrre still at "is it lawful to shoot someone fleeing". Which I don't believe it is.

you're wasting your time trying to get him to see the obvious.

I don't believe he will get convicted either. The video is questionable enough that you can't convict on that alone. No one was in danger. Y'all are acting like she was trying to hit him. When she was clearly fleeing, her tires weren't even pointed towards him even though he was in the middle of the street

Police vs federal agents is a key distinction. It's the same way how the EPA or even state environmental agencies often need local sheriffs to escort them when they are doing their work.

You're retarded. I never said this lady did the right thing. But if you think this cop did his job 100% correctly that day, you're just as retarded as leftists making her out to be a saint.
