Good take. But know that there are real adversaries trying to find weak links to bring down Bitcoin and Monero. You are absolutely correct innijvitjng even bthe perpetrators and the compromised to the table to bring forward their position to discuss it purely on its merit. That's by the way while decentralised free speech platforms for anonymous contributors are so powerful. It's also why Monero developer culture is better, thanks to many anonymous devs.

Agreed. We can rest assured there are adversaries. And likely very powerful ones. And great points about the free speech platforms importance.. The only solution is open discussion with the best signal to noise as possible. And the noise benefits the adversaries more than good guys. The highly anonymous dev culture of Monero is an interesting thought. Counter intuitive in some ways. But I would say the smaller tighter culture helps too (not that XMR has not had is dramas). Even certain "anon" btc devs are actively working for clout and rockstar status (you know who you are lol). And I'd bet there are some real adversaries among them. And if a level headed cypherpunk is "compromised" then he arguably does a good job with the narrative. But again the anti BTC chaos actors still have an asymmetrical advantage over the "good guys".
